I am glad you asked!

Conventional intercooler cores are thin-walled, extruded aluminum tubes that are not designed to handle extreme boost pressures and limit cooling performance because of their narrow width.

Turbonetics, home of Spearco intercoolers, utilize the latest design advances in strength and durability and maximize cooling effectiveness through a greater surface area. Wider is better!

Duramax Intercooler

Spearco's exclusive W.A.V.E. Technology (Wide Area Vane Effectiveness) is the ultimate combination in strength and efficiency of heat exchanger cores. These unique cores are capable of comfortably withstanding pressures in excess of 200+ psi. W.A.V.E. cores incorporate a complex network of highly effective vanes to regularly decrease temperatures by as much as 30F over conventional tube-n-fin units. All units are hand-welded by master welders right at our facility.

On our diesel applications, averaging 150F drop in intake air temperature and only dropping 1psi in boost pressure across the board allows you to lower your EGT and increase your pulling power.

Be sure to go through Diesel Bombers supporting vendors to get one!

Not that I plan on dropping $1500 an intercooler anytime soon, seeing as how my steering box needs to be replaced... But do you guys offer an Intercooler for the Cummins crowd? and if so, why don't you offer a Turbo to match it?
