Now you only have to figure out how to stop it because trailers that size have brakes and that's gonna be a tough thing to figure out.
Yeah I'm just worried about sway (no tongue weight) I think it will push the truck around ALOT... Guess it scrounging for a trailer time... Need to find an old junker I can work on.

I can order you brand new axle assemblies and all the hardware probably cheaper then you can re-hab an old trailer. But if you can find one ready to roll there are a lot of them on the market for good prices.

I do ALOT of flat towing and sometimes it sucks but sometimes it goes flawless, yesterday I towed home a 78 Ford f150 supercab camper special and it weighs about 6k with a big block and 3 spare motors in the bed and below 35 it wandered around but 55 it towed like a dream, just make sure your tow bar points DOWN like this / not that extreme but 10deg is good because when you brake it pushes down on the rear of your vehicle and in a panic stop it will put more weight on the truck for more traction, if it points up and you do a panic stop it will pick up on the back of the truck and you WILL have problems

Pulled my dads' 1/2 4x4 Chevy from Battle Mt, NV to Billings, MT no issues what-so-ever. Disconnected the front drive shaft and put the t-case into N. He had a couple tail/turn light that he stuck in the holes in the box. Get the right materials and you can build ya a pretty stout towbar.
