About a month and a half ago i ordered a three gauge auto meter kit thru thoroughbred diesel. a boost, a pyro and a fuel pressure gauge all for my 96 dodge 12 valve after getting the gauges i hock up the boost and the pyro gauges no problem but i wasnt real sure where to hook up the fuel sender for the gauge so i called them (thoroughbred diesel) and their shop guys said screw it in to the top of the fuel filter block where the bleed off bolt is. Ok no problem all the gauges were hooked up but the fuel pressure gauge was wigging out! And the sender was spraying diesel out the top of it so i call them again they said send it back because your still under the 30 warranty we will send you a new one. Cool! After a couple weeks they call and say they will not refund anything because i bought the wrong gauge. but i had used their web site where it said GAUGES FOR A 1996 DODGE 2ND GEN 12 VALVE so it ended up they had sent me a 30 psi gauge for my pickup which could not handle the pressure and was spraying diesel fuel out of the top of the sender and their website was wrong. (their fault) After that they were very sorry for sending the wrong one and said they would send out a new one right away. YA RIGHT! After waiting another week and a half they call again and say that is not going to happen because the threads on the sender are messed up ( my fault ) so they can’t get their money back from Auto Meter for their mistake! But they can send me another sender and gauge for their price they pay straight from auto meter. So what I ended up doing is paying another $83 dollars for a new sender so they could get their money back. They wouldn’t even split the cost with me even tho in my mind it was at least half their fault. In the end I paid nearly $300 dollars for a fuel pressure gauge and thoroughbred diesel raped me and I could do a thing about it!

well I ordered the wrong gague (my fault) and there was no problem returning but they neglected to tell me about there restocking fee and the gague was never out of the box but the box had seen better days when I got it. I also had to pay for shipping for the gague originaly but the VP 44 was shipped free from the same address and they arrived the same day. I guess THIS dumb hick will reconsider purchasing the QUADZILLA tuner I was considering and I think I'll do it localy
