who said a IDI is gutless ?
Background , have a friend who has been working on upgrades for the IDi fords .
This year he has made some pretty good power ..
rig is a 80s bronco stock , except 10.25 rear with 5 lug spindles ..
engine , 7.3 IDI , ARPM studs . CAM , dual disk clutch , custom turbo kit , headers , custom intake , custom maxed IP , upgraded injectors .
few weeks ago at Hunting for Horsepower in CDA idaho . they had him on a dyno 400Hp and 800 ft lbs tq .
pretty impressive as AS far as i know know , no-one has better numbers on a IDI with a rotary pump
