The beginning of my Jeep build
I don't know if anyone cares to see any of this, but I'm gonna post it as I go anyhow. I am gonna build a Jeep from scratch and put a Diesel in it (Probably an OM617 with an NV3500). As of right now my "Jeep" is a set of 3/4 ton axles in my garage. I've rebuilt the brakes and replaced the bearings and seals on the rear so I am gonna post pics. I'm gonna start on the front as soon as I get a chance and I will post pics of that too. Eventually I hope to have (literally) a ground up build with photos posted here. I'm learning as I go so bear with me and feel free to point and laugh (and maybe even throw out some advice) as this project goes on.

Front end
Ok, well, we got the front end rebuilt. We've been having some technical difficulties due to the fact that we don't know what the heck this axle came out of. Fortunately after a little pain and suffering at the local parts houses we were able to find the bearings, races, calipers and other assorted parts one at a time by digging through their computers and inventories. So, as promised, here are some pics. We should be getting the wheels in from Summit racing in the next week or so. Once we get them I will get some more pics while we mount them. Then the next step will be getting the materials together to build the frame.

Wheels and tires
I know it's been a while, but here is a picture after I put the wheels and tires on. The tires are just some old ones off my truck so I can roll everything around, I have some new ones I will be putting on when it gets closer to completion. I am going to pick up the materials to build the frame later this week as well as a Kubota V2203 that a friend of mine scored for free! Things are coming along!
