Default 2007 GMC Sierra 2500HD Classic 4x4 CC SB

Hello up for sale is my project Sierra 2500. I bought it from an insurance auction in TX (no rust) as a one owner truck with 140,400 on the much desirable LBZ duramax (not DPF and no DEF) and 6 sp Allison transmission and had it shipped to IL. It had a cracked grille and slightly bent bumper from a very low speed side frontal impact. There is no other body damage or dents all damage was confined to the bumper area and the grille was cracked with no air bag deployed.

It had very minor damage but it was totaled out and once a vehicle gets totaled out most insurance company change the title to salvage regardless on the condition of the vehicle. I partnered with a local license rebuilder who are the only operations in this state that can repair and submit paperwork for a salvage title so it will then come back rebuilt so it can be registered, insured and legally driven on the streets.

The only damage was cracked grille (the mounts) and slightly bent bumper and bumper attachment and one headlight bulb. I drove it locally to check its operation and all power options worked including AC yet the CEL light was on. It has the P0087 code for low rail pressure and I changed the fuel filter but it came back on so I was going to install a lift pump which is the common solution. The driver's side window will sometimes not go down but other times it operates without a problem. The truck has codes for 2 glow plugs but starts up fine but my intentions were to fix everything and drive it as my daily.

It is mainly stock but has a Magnaflow cat back exhaust system, a removable/hidden gooseneck (not used much) and a trailer brake controller in the cab. The bed has a thick spray on bed liner and no scratches or dents.

It has drivers power seat and passenger manual with cloth interior. All power options work incl ice cold AC (Texas truck), push button 4wd and has OEM radio that receives satellite stations but 1 or 2 interior speakers are inop. The truck is full of dust so needs a good cleaning but no burns rips or gouges. Other than the front damage there are no dents, no rust on the body and no rust underside. The only repairs are the front parts removed and the headlight bulb and fuel filter replaced (OEM). My son is about to go to college and needs a car so this project has to go. Price is 12K but includes the new replacement parts of hood, grille, fog light and inner fender wheel well cover.
