I just bought a 06 megacab cummins with a automatic tranny, I am wondering what do I need to do to have my tranny hold a good 500hp? I am planning on getting a smarty but I am gonna build my transmission first. I bought it with some kind of a chip(cant get ahold of the owner that put it on) and I am wearied about the tranny. Thanks for any advice.

 

We have DTT rebuild kits on the shelf. We also have shift kits and GM solenoid conversions. You will want at least a good single disk converter. If you go triple disk a billet input shaft would be recommended, or if you plan on going bigger than 500HP
