Borgeson Steering Shaft
#16
Got mine installed today but haven't had a chance to try it out yet. Once I got the old one out it didn't have any play in it so to speak but it sure was stiff to make the joints flex. I see why my steering was so stiff now. On the new bar if I hold it up and shake the joints flop around. On the OEM one if you put the joints straight out and shake it the stay exactly in place and don't budge.

git out there and drive it BubbaD ... Glad to hear you got it in and sounds like things were wedding night stiff! LOL Now you are 30 year marriage non stiff now. should not squeak being a bit more flexable.

They make little blue pills that prevent that 30 year marriage condition ya know, so i wouldn't know what yer talkin about there.
It just caught me off guard, even trying to flex the joints by hand they were hard to bend. But on the good side they weren't stamped Made in China. They said Made In West Germany. They must have been Diamlers contribution.

it depends on the speak. But the squeak you speak of sounds like a power steering pump most will make that noise when you deadhead them.
