1947 GMC PD375-032 needs Custom Brake Liner quote
Brake liners for my GMC PD3751-032 are obsolete and I need brake liners made.
Anyone here make custom liners?
I have the original GM Coach parts book but needless to say, the part is obsolete.... So here I am.
My 1947 GMC PD3751-032 Greyhound Silversides 6-71 Detroit bus was #32 to roll off the line and being one of the first 500 produced, many parts are obsolete.... After #501, the liners and some other parts I need can still be found but are only available from one vendor.... probably not for much longer.
One of the differences in the brakes are that the pre - 500 shoes are cast aluminum.
Another change, is that the mounting holes also changed post - 500.
So there's the jest of it.
Can anyone help or guide me to a Pro so I can start pounding pavement again?
