I recently purchased the above mentioned truck and because of the deal I was able to get on it I have some extra funds available.

What I do not have is expertise on exactly where my money is best spent.

Here is why I come to you.

After much research on the internet over the last few weeks I was led to this forum and already have compiled a great list of free/cheap mods to begin with. What I need now is a list with pricing from you fine folks on how best to spend roughly $2k.

The truck is bone stock, purchased from an older man.

Gauges, gauge pod and installation kit, air intake, ehaust and fuel system I think are first on my list. However maybe you have better recommendation.

There is no lift on the rig.

I have no plans on towing.

I haul no more then 1 ton ever.

The truck (after completion of work) will be driven 70 miles round trip 4 days a week.

I bought this to be my commuter rig so with that said MPG and performance are my main concerns.
