Aluminum can be pricey too depending on the type, and thickness. Only thing with powder coating, your EGT will be alot hotter because you're closer to the turbo...it could boil off or burn off....

Just a thought, I'm sure one of y'all have thought of this already but I'll put it out there anyway.

You need to remember that as people grow there trucks there turbo will grow also. They might go from a 3" outlet on teh turbo to a 4", ect. You need to make the kits so that you only have to buy the piece that actually attachs to the turbo. Make them interchangable.

you mean like if someone is running a stock style turbo and downpipe and puts a stack kit on and then later upgrades to a turbo that requires the HX40 style downpipe?

This set up is a 3pc set up. You get the bottom plate, stack, and top plate. With about a 100 different ways to "plumb" the exhaust from point A (the turbo) to point B (the stack) we feel it's better to let the end user decide the best plumbing for their application. Most application I've seen they plumb 3-4" tubing to the stack, and it basicly 90* up into the stack...

We are also working on a few other little adapters to help with this set up. Use of these adapters will be up to the customer.

Bottom line we can not please everyone...hell know's I'll try, but the way it will most likly work out is have a "universal" set up, and offer a few additional adapters and what not to allow the customer to build it to their specs.

PLEASE...PLEASE...PLEASE...keep all the ideas coming!

The plumbing from the turbo to the hood stack is all on you, and what works for you. There are a hundred different ways to plumb the exhuast...hell I talked to 5 different guys who have built custom hood stacks, and all had a different way to plumb to it.

I cant wait for this, i would use aluminum for the mounting plate to keep the price down, or offer em both either stainless or aluminum and let us choose when they buy em...how are you planning on having the stack mount to the plate and then the plate to the hood??
