Does the patent ONLY pertain to Diesels? There is a family near here who has a early 70s Ford pickup that has had stacks on it as long as I can recall. In fact if my memory is not mistaken it had em back in the 80s already. IF anyone here has been to the Tug-A -Tuck pulls at Wapak during the Lima 4x4 Jamboree has seen it pull and might recall the brown and white 2 tone Ford I am refering to.

Yeah I think its a 74 model Ford. It is one sharp looking truck for a "gasser". I guess I didnt clarify that in my previous post

No it does not specify "diesel".

I have contacted a friend of mine from the 4x4 Truck Club I belong to out of Lima. He text messaged me this morning that the guy who formed the club had stacks on his truck thru the bed and he died in 2003. My friend is going to try to make contact with that family to see if they have any pics and he is going to try to contact the family of the 70s Ford I mentioned as well. So hopefully we can come up with some info as well. I also posted the link to this thread on the 2 local 4x4 websites I belong to.
