You would put new injectors in a motor that has low compression
well dry compression numbers are typically low (static compression) I would say either do a wet compression test or slap new injectors and all in it... depending on those numbers..... either way .. can put those new injectors into new motor if it comes to that as well.... cant expect good numbers on a dry comp. test :humm:
Well your right i would have to buy new injectors anyway. It's worth a shot adleast, I had no idea that a dry test matterd. Thanks for the info i would love to save a few thousand.

white smoke coming from tailpipe=bad injectors.
what did you do to fix your truck ,,, thx if you can help me:humm:
in the process of fixing it know had a question about draining the oil and fuel that is behind the head. Is it the bolt that looks like you conect a half inch ratchet too?
yes, the oil gallery is a 1/2" square at the top and under it is a 1/4" square for the fuel. put a pan ander the truck unless you want a mess.
after draining those can i put the glowplugs back and start it. or do i have to leave the plugs out and crank it for a while
