Question Horse Power Gain/ Chips And Programmer Help

To start with I have a 2002 f350 with a ten inch lift,37 inch tires and a k&n air intake. Right now i have a hypertech programmer in it but i am not getting as much horsepower as i would like, so my question is what kind of chip or programmer or mod could i buy that would give me more horsepower.I also dont want to kill my mpg.

well with 37's i'm sure it can't get much worse LOL but i have been very pleased with the tunes from PHP (Power Hungry Performance) you could also do turbo, injectors, HPOP etc. etc.

my chip with 6 tunes of my choice from KT Performance was 290 to my door, a HPOP is about 600, thats the adrenaline have heard tons of good things about it, a new converter and shift kit would do wonders too, suncoast has good stuff and so does BTS, what are you looking to get out of the truck HP wise

you will have to becareful becaue you have PMR's (Powdered Metal Rods) and they have been known to snap around 400hp give or take... i would start with the HPOP, then go to the turbo, then a good set of hybrid injectors, basically the same thing i am doing

I would recommend a chip from DP-Tuner. We are a dealer for them and have them in-stock.

They now are offering an F8 chip which is an 8 position rotary style chip that is about $100 cheaper than a TS chip.

The nice thing about this chip is any tuner can program on it so if you at a later time want to try tunes from someone else, you don't have to buy another chip.

another thing you could do right away is change the gears in your diffs this would bring back alot of power that you lost when you went to the 37 inch tires... after that I would put bigger brakes on it so it will stop once you get moving fast....

If you have 3.73 gears in your diffs then going to some 5.29 will give you a big boost of power right off the bat....
