Well figured it out. The high pressure oil pump went. Had it replaced and all is good. Thanks for you advise!

I replaced cps sensor witha new ford grey unit. This didn't correct the problem. I took the truck to the local diesel shop and turned out that the high pressure oil pump went. It was changed and all is good now. Thanks for the help!!

im surprised nobody saw a low icp pressure reading though

The common answer was the cps without looking at the truck. Once that was changed and the problem persisted they started looking. Glad it's back too. Thanks!!

well yes i know the cps had to be ruled out first, but after that and the problem persisted i would've checked pressures.... cause usually if the icp sensor goes bad its either giving a wicked far out reading or its dead.

its a wirer change the ecnishon switch some guys at work was haven the same probem
