Default The real deal?

So I have read forum after forum after forum on these chips for the 99-03 7.3 liter. Everybody has good or bad things to say it's all hit and miss.
The one thing I know for sure is I do want custom tunes, and I was decided on the ts. Now after looking into the Php hydra, it sounds really good as well.

So, which is better for a truck that has stock injectors and why?
Also, is it better to buy it straight from someone who puts custom tunes on it or by basic and just buy a few sets of tunes?
Is tony wild mans, beans, swamps, exc basically all the same tunes with a different brand on them? And where would you buy them from?
Ts or Php?

They are not all the same tunes. They all tune different some tuners have tunes that have more smoke others not as much. My understanding is that you can only really buy the tunes from those people themself. Beans from beans diesel, swamps from swamps etc. It seems to me after I researched you'll have people support each and every one, obviously people who have bad experiences try and post more than what people do with good. That's just the nature of the best. But when I get my tunes on my truck, from my researching I'll be going with either beans or TW tunes.

Hope this helps.

Every tuner is different. They all have ways they tune that make them all different. The TS is good, but the hydra is alot more user friendly if you ever plan on adding or changing tunes. The hydra has 15 spots for different tunes. You can use all of them or a couple, it just has that option. I don't think anyone sells them with tunes preloaded but I'm not sure. They are super easy to plug into a computer and upload tunes to it.
