Default power stroke help

I have an early 99 power stroke and the injectors went out. But I have a spare set of injectors out of a late 99 7.3. Will late 99 injectors work for an early 99 7.3.

I had one bypassing. They all have 317000 miles on then might as well change then I have new injectors but they are for a late 99 not an early and I know the late are AD code with #8 cylinder AE code instead of AB code. So was wondering if they would work

If you want to use late 99-2003 injectors in your rig, you will also have to change out your IDM (injector drive module)
The IDM in your early 99 does not produce enough power to run the late 99 injectors.

after doing this you should have no problems running the newer injectors.

That statement is 100% false. You can swap them and drive them no other modifications at all. They would run better with some tuning but it is not required

I think you could run a set of late model injectors. I just took my engine apart and mine was runnning two late model injectors. The main difference between early and late injecters are fuel delivory. Early shoot (figures are not excact) say 45 and the late shoot say 50. again i say figures are not excact and are just a rough number.
