Default turbo o-rings??

What would cause oil or fuel on the Turbo pedestal? I was pricing Turbo rebuild kits and was wondering if it was a fairly simple task.

Pull the down pipe off and see if there is oil inside it.

it could be caused by ur oil seal going out on ur turbo which will blow oil and you'll see that on your intake side, or it could be from one of the o-rings undernieth the turbo that went out

If you have oil on your pedastal that could mean your EBPV is leaking, mine was and you could see the oil coming out around actuator shaft. I rebuilt it along with new pedastal orings and it seems to be leak free.
