Default 2008 6.4 Diesel Problems

We have a 2008 6.4 in a F-350 crew cab ford. The stats:

76118 miles vin# 1FTWW31R18EA45177

Have replaced radiator 5 times , vehicle overheated badly each time

Last time vehicle overheated batteries exploded, ford checked charging system, Ford said charging system operating properly.

Ford removed and replaced fuel pump

Ford removed and replaced crankshaft oil seal / leaking

Ford removed and replaced oil pump

Last week oil light went on, no oil pressure / towed vehicle in / Ford declined warranty due to sludge buildup in engine

Have given Ford oil change information, Dealers changed oil 3 times and owner changed oil 4 times.

Ford never changed or flushed engine even after all the overheating events, should they have ??

Would overheating engine cause oil breakdown and heavy sludge deposits in Valve covers and on top of cyclinder heads ?

Please help us.

I would call the FORD HEADQUATERS & complaint about all the problems you have had, Call a LAWYER if FORD is playing games with you !!!

Default 08 Ford 6.4 Update

Since our last post we got an oil sample analyized by a lab in South Florida

The results are as follows: (in parts per million)

Aluminum 33
Chromuim 12
Copper 40
Iron 225
Lead 83
Tin 12
Silicon 10
Potassium 24
Sodium 525
Moly 9
Water 0.4
Oxidation 30.9
Viscosity 16.8
Glycol nd
Fuel <2.0
TBN <3.0
Soot 350

The lab said that the egine was comprimised (head gasket, cracked block) that introduced water / anti freeze into the oil during one of the overheating events.

Ford said the oil analysis is normal

Ford will not fix truck
