Well I replaced the pump gears and new front cover and still no oil pressure. I took off the cover and not a drop of oil. Any ideas?

 

sorry, didn't see your text till just now, been makin alot of nois in the garage. I know we used to pack pumps with vasoline to help them prime, I don't know about these taking in account the injectors. let me research this a little and I will get back to you.

i have a 04 f250 sound like i am having the same problem i bought my truck last a week ago and it ran great i put an edge tuner on it and it started right up ran bad *** went to turn the truck off for like 10 min and when i tried to start it would not start just cranked and cranked about 4 hours later went back and cranked it about 10 times and it started drove it home parked it pluged it in and came out the next morning had to crank and crank it to get it to start when it did i drove to my shop noticed at idle had no oil pressure but when i gave it gas oil pressure was fine not it will not start and just cranks any ideas of what could be wrong i need my truck back yesterday thanks

 

What oil filter are you using?

Bob/Jpick, what ended up fixing your truck?

 

Don't know dealer but it in and it is filling up just checked it

 

Sorry to steal your post, but if anyone knows somebody who needs the full kit to do this from Ford I have one. I haven't been able to find ANYBODY to take it off my hands. It cost me like $600 and I only want $200 for it. Upgraded to a 2011 so I don't need it and I'm sure theres somebody out there who could really use it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've got pics as well. Thanks.
