I just want to try the oil additive for now.

How much do you use per oil change?

Replace 16oz of AR with your oil fill up.

lilpooh have you noticed any change while you were using the fuel additive and is that all you use or have you tried other fuel additives? Also something funny happened today i remember in a post from Mdub that diesel techs dont know anything about the aftermarket world, i was in the dealership today getting coolant and i was asking if they would void my warrenty if i had arp's installed well the diesel tech said he had never heard of arp headstuds. Just thought that was funny. thanks for your guys input

Most technicians would never even notice ARP's over bolts anyways, because they have no clue what they're doing (talking about the techs at the dealers). Also , MOST, not all.

I found throughout my warranty process it was very beneficial to give the service manager as little info as possible, and then leave a note in the truck for the technician with your phone number, and a case of beer in the bed or a $50 bill tucked somewhere in the truck.

I was told you shouldn't let a diesel get further than 50 miles to empty to keep trash from being picked up in tank and fubarring some things. Sound right.

Ya Ive heard the same, also its hard on the injectors if we run them low on fuel. I don't let mine get lower than a quarter of a tank. That's just a personnel preference though

That's the big thing, if it does run out it's hard on the injectors. The fuel acts like a pillow for the plunger to smash on, without that pillow it beats itself up. There shouldn't be trash in your tank, and if there is the pickup is at the bottom already anyways. We do have two fuel filters to stop all that crap anyways right?
