Problems with my 03 f250
Hello guys I just got me an 03 f250 6.0l and I was driving and it died now it won't start I put a fuel pump in it thinking that could be the problem but that didn't fix it. I think is through STC fiting but I would like to be sure before I get it apart. Maybe the injection control module? Idk any ideas? Thanks

First, welcome to DB!
Lets start with my typical lecture. Throwing parts at it, wont fix the problem MOST of the time. You might get lucky, but what's the point? Lets break it down, find out what's wrong with it, and only repair what needs repairing. This is where a lot of complaints come from with 6.0's. So many people out there don't take the time to diagnose and just throw parts at it. When they get it back and it's still not running right, they get frustrated. Rightfully so.
So... Lets figure out what's wrong with your truck. When you crank it, are you getting any smoke out of the exhaust? The answer to this question will tell us which direction to go and help you diagnose it.
Diagnose, verify, repair!

Its a 6.0. Thats the problem. Sorry, but yes he is right, get it diagnosed correctly, the one issue can have a 100 cures on them. FICM and Injectors? IPR? Does the Oil pressure guage go up while cranking on it? the injectors are ran by oil pressure so check that first make sure you have good oil pressure

03 f250 problems HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP!!!!!
Thank you for your help guys i agree i don't want to put parts that i don't need because when it finally gets fixed i won't know what solved the problem if i replace a bunch of parts at once. i didn't know the stc fitting only gives problems to the 05's models. ufff you saved me a bunch of time replacing it. now here is what i found. no smoke when i start it. and i have the following codes.
p0267 cylinder 3 injector circuit low
p0672 cylinder 2 glow plug circuit
p0674 cylinder 4 glow plug circuit
p0676 cylinder 6 glow plug circuit
p0678 cylinder 8 glow plug circuit
u0306 software incompatibility with fuel injector module
that make me think that my problem is with the injector control module but idk what y'all think????? once again thank you

That code is just thrown when a FICM that didn't originally come on the truck has been put on. So it may have a reman FICM on there from one of the FICM repair shops, my truck has the same code.
You have one injector code, and the rest are glow plugs all on one bank. I wonder if the harness is messed up on that side... That is the drivers side harness, take a look at it and see what you can find.
I don't think that's your issue, it would still start (assuming it's been hot where you're at too) without the glow plugs functioning.
Take the top fuel filter out of the bowl and leave the cap off, turn the key forward to kick the fuel pump on and see if the bowl fills up with fuel. Let us know what you find.

If you were driving and it died it is most likely going to be your High Presure Oil Pump, kinda sucks because a new one from ford is over $500 and a billet bullet poof one from Diesel Site is over $900, a scan tool that can read ICP desired and ICP actual will reveal the truth. Make sure your oil presure guage on the dash goes up after you have cranke it for several seconds, if not it could be the engine oil pump or just the bypass plunger on the pump.

thank you for your help with this nightmare truck lol
as you guys said i checked my oil pressure gauge the first time i cranked for 10 seconds and the second time i cranked for 15 seconds and it did not move at "ALL" but whenever i first turn the ignition switch on all the needles on the instrument panel went up and then down so i guess the gauges are working good. i also removed the cap from the fuel filter bowl and it fills up really quick. also i have this readings on my ICP.
ICP_DSD(kpa)----------10410
ICP_PRESS--------------368 (-/+) sometimes 340, 372
ICP_(V)------------------0.28
all those reading were taking while i was cranking the truck. once again thanks for your help and time
