I got a bad out the box IPR and took me forever to realize that it was a problem. But that's my luck.

I know the feeling. I hate waiting on parts. Especially a 49 cent resistor!

Pfffffft, this is nothing. When I brought mine in for warranty work, there were several times I waited over a MONTH to get my truck back. The last time, I called, made an appointment, and they didn't even LOOK at the truck for over a month of me calling. They never returned phone calls or anything. Left messages with the service manager, the general manager and not once did I ever get a phone call back. I had a huge issue with shipping parts to the dealer and them telling me they were lost in the mail, so I called almost every USPS facility between here and there trying to track it down and the lady at the local USPS place to them told me she remembered them picking the parts up. Come to find out they had been sitting on the service managers desk the entire time. Biggest waste and frustration of my life to date with the truck. Dealership was Marchese Ford in New Lebanon NY, I would NEVER go back there again.

I think the dealers sit on them waiting for the warranty to run out

The last time mine went in, warranty did run out while it was there. Looking back, it's been the 2nd best day of ownership, 1st day was paying it off.

Well I have 3 years or 36kmiles left n the warranty. I am going to start taking it to unlimited diesel for all repairs from now on. No more dealer for me. The warranty will cover any certified repair facility of my choice
