Default Blowing black smoke

Just yesterday my truck started blowing black smoke when i hit the throttle, at any speed and doesnt have to b floored either. Last time this happened it was veins sticking in turbo its been cleaned like three times now!!
Not throwing any codes either sooo that leaves turbo veins or boost leak???
Truck is 2004 with 250k on it. I love my truck but my god everytime i turn around its laid up for a wk and costs $$$
Wondering if my turbo is gonna fail soon ifs had a rough fi so far.

Could be turbo, could also be EBP sensor/tube. Have either of those ever been removed and cleaned? Might want to do those first, easier than yanking the turbo again.

Is this the original turbo? 250k miles on a stocker isn't bad man... Sometimes they're just beyond repair too, so if you're cleaning it and it still has terrible pitting, it could just be a spot for soot to collect.

What are your driving habits with the truck? Trucks that are babied or sit for any period of time are also more prone to turbo issues.

I drive the truck fairly hard but it hasnt done any towing in few years which is when problems started i thought turning 35's and now 37's would have loaded it up enough.
Would the ebc theo a code? Where is that located on early 04??
See if i can clean it myself

Follow your oil dipstick tube down, right as it crosses above your driver side exhaust manifold it goes directly over the EBP tube (number 1 cylinder), follow that tube wherever it takes you and it will dead end at the sensor. My '07 it goes back and straight up, yours being an early model might have it come forward and p to the front face of the head.

The EBP sensor on your truck is going to be right next to the oil dipstick tube at the front. Did you do an EGR delete? if not the er valve might just need a cleaning.

I severed two of three wires on my EBP sensor, causing the turbo to fall to 0 boost and basically shut off when crusing, it was doing all sorts of funny things, no code ever came up for it.
