What brand exhaust did you get, I know with the Magnaflow it's a hell of alot easier to install the 4" down pipe from up top, the biggest problem when putting it in from underneaeth is the flange that clamps pipe to turbo, it cuts into the insulation on firewall and tears the hell out of it.

Ok so i got the exhaust on with no problems. Wasn't hard at all. Took 2 hours to do tear out and instal (with smoke breaks). Only problem I am having is I couldn't stop it from rubbing on the trans crossmember. Any ideas on what I could use to put in between them to keep from getting the vibrations? A piece of high heat resistant rubber or anything?

Mine did this too. It kept moving on me. I finally just loosened all the clamps, went under there and pryed it away from the x-member with a 2x4 or something like that, and then tightend the clamps all back up. Been good since then.
