Default Next upgrade?

My current set up is-

2007 f250 6.0
8" lift
38x15.50R20 MTZ
ARP studs
Ford head gaskets
EGR delete
Afe intake
Coolant Filtration System - Ordered
SCT with looney wild (That thing is no joke)
Edge cts for gauges - Not working currently
4 gauge pillar pod (Volts, Boost, EGT, Fuel Pressure)

Eventually I want to do injectors, turbo, and fuel system but its not set in stone.

My question is should I do torque convert then built tranny before I get into injectors etc.?
If so what is the best bang for my buck?

Depends what your HP goal is, your budget, and what you use the truck for. I can point you in the right direction for sure. You may not need to build the trans depending on where we go with this...

Injectors are not cheap for 6.0's. So without knowing your budget it's going to be hard to recommend. Let us know what we're working with here and we can suggest some things.

Also what lift are you using? Is the front just drop brackets and such, or do you have a 3 or 4 link of some sort? What about the rear? Traction bars/ladder bars at all? Spring lift, block lift...? May need to focus on making the power hit the ground before we add more too.

I won't pulling anything serious with this truck or on the track often. Mainly just looking for peak performance. Want decent mpg along with the power. Im hitting 20.3 mpg on the interstate now and roughly 14 city. I'd rather upgrade a few key points now rather then having a major problem with them down the road. If I were to keep my setup as is now what would you suggest to upgrade? BTW I got my fuel pressure gauge installed today and I am hitting 60-65 psi at idle and drops to 40-45 for a split second at WOT then recovers to 60 psi at cruising speed. Is this decent?

That is one heck of a fuel pressure drop from idle to WOT. I would suggest the updated fuel spring. And if you already have the spring, your dropping psi too much and need to find out why.

Depends what you're looking for I guess. Just want a street truck that lays down some big numbers? If you do tow, how heavy will it be?

20.3mpg is unheard of for a 6.0, especially one on big tires, is this hand calculated? If I was truly getting that mileage I wouldn't even touch anything.

If I do tow anything its only a boat for duck hunting very light. It not hand calculated just using the one on the dash. Was reset before I left my house on a 2 hr drive (mainly interstate). I was surprised I took a picture of it when I was getting off. Mpg dropped to around 17-18 while using cruise control but went back up to roughly 20.3 with it off. After using the looney wild tune it dropped drastically. Waiting on my tune from matt@ gearhead

Well what do you mean peak performance? Do you still plan on daily driving this truck? Because we can crank the power out of this thing but it's going to be track duty only... so any info you can give us about what you want to do with the truck will help here. Throw us a bone.

I can't really recommend anything since none of my questions were answered really. Don't know what you have for a lift or anything. You can keep the lift if you want, but if you're going to be putting a bunch of power through it, it's going to need ladder bars of some sort. Front end will probably be ok as long as you're not sled pulling or drag racing. If you are, that should get 3 or 4 linked.

I need to know what you want for HP goals and how much you have to spend, and if you plan on daily driving this after.

Try hand calculating your mileage, they don't call the factory mileage read out the lie-o-meter for nothing.

Mdub - After looking over my truck again and taking a look at setups other people are running. Im going to go with what you said about my suspension. Heard a lot about Cal-tracs and farmboy fabrications, but thinking about making some custom ones with solid stainless bars. Whats your take on that? I know I need to do a little more research on them before I tackle it.
