RIP Papachuck
Not sure how many of you guys know or remember Papachuck, he was a member here. He hasn't posted in a while. His wife, Marina just sent me a PM on here to inform me that he passed away Friday afternoon. He suffered a dissecting aortic aneurysm. He was only 45 years old. Chuck was one of the nicest guys I've had the pleasure of talking to since joining the diesel world. RIP Chuck. You'll be missed buddy.
Charles Ray Brock, Jr. (Chuck), 45, of Ephratah, NY was suddenly taken to be with the Lord on June 1, 2012. He was born in Pontiac, Michigan on June 27, 1966, the son of Charles R. Brock and Margaret "Helen" O'Brien.
Born and raised in Michigan, Chuck graduated from Lakeville Memorial High School in 1984. He is a Veteran of the United States Air Force, having served from 1986 to 1992.
On May 18, 1996, Chuck married his soul mate, Marina Sue Pike, and they recently celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary. In 1999, they moved from Gwinn, Michigan to Glen, New York, where together they owned and operated Stony Field Dairy Farm for ten years. Chuck was employed by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department as a Corrections Officer since 2004. He loved his diesel truck, his cat, Googie, and the couple’s dog, Piper. He enjoyed diesel truck forums, reading, grilling, and spending time with his family and friends. He and his wife often delighted in going for drives around scenic lake areas and working together building their new home. Above all, Chuck was a devoted and loving husband and father. Chuck’s life has shaped and influenced many, as he was an outstanding teacher and example. His humor was infectious and he always made the best of any situation.
His loving family includes his wife, Marina Brock, daughters Apryle Brock (David Wingard) of Las Vegas, NV, Codi Marie Staton (Steven) of Las Vegas, NV, and Britany Gibson (JohnHenry Schriefer) of Saratoga Springs, NY; a son Cody Gibson (Ashleigh Milano) of Nashua, NH; grandchildren Xavion and Jaymin Staton; his father Charles R. Brock of Corbin, KY and mother Helen O'Brien of Lapeer, MI; a sister Lori Herbert (Michael), niece Kristen Herbert and nephew Anthony Herbert of Lapeer, MI, his grandfather Homer Brock of Stoney Fork, KY, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
