Default Wrench light Keeps coming On

Hey guys,
I recently my ficm replaced at the dealership because I was getting low voltage to my injectors. Since then the wrench light has come on 3 times in the last month all while going up hill. I got a 05 6.0 f250 with 120k and a k&n air filter... Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, trucks running like **** with the light on.

Loose connection? Does it happen on the same hill?

define "****"
Mine would come on once a week when under a load. I eventually got to a no start condition when hot. the o rings on my dummy plugs and stand pipes had gone bad and caused a high pressure oil leak.

When you had it to the dealer, they may have updated your ECM to the newer flash to set the wrench light to come on when your ECT/EOT delta is out of spec.

Only way to find out is to read for codes, other than that, we are just guessing.

Interesting. Vanes are probably sticking causing an overboost condition, good thing you caught it early. Pull it out and clean it up. Read here: DTS Articles - Turbocharger Reconditioning

Also, the next time the FICM craps out... just get it repaired. The new one's are all going to keep doing the same thing, a repair is much more permanent and much less expensive. A fraction of what it would cost to have it replaced at Ford.
