Default i did it...like i said i would!

just bought a 2007 f250 4x4 crew cab 6.0l short bed, loaded with all but leather. 62,237 miles. prestine oasis report for $20k out the door. the 12v is now a toy not a DD. i am going to delete the egr and straight pipe the exhaust... add a cai and a idp sct and it is gonna be my camper hauler for camping trips. Also i bought the extended warrenty so it is covered for 3 years or 36k more miles. anything else i should do?

Should I put factory coolant back in? And who makes a good coolant filter kit?

Sinister makes a pretty good one... Coolant is up to you, as long as its a elc. I prefer cat elc ec1. And when you do it do a flush with fleetgaurd restore and restore +

For what you're doing, leave the stock air filter, they're the best for filtration and still support decent power. You'd be wasting money.

With a good 4" turbo back and a race tune expect 420-430rwhp./750-790rwtq

A daily driver street tune will be like 400rwhp/625-650tq

Don't bother with an economy tune, waste of time.

A cc/sb should be good for low 14's or so in the 1/4 with a race tune. They say a tuned only 6.0 will run between 13.8 and 14.2, I'd expect the bigger truck you have to be on the slower end of that, but still quick.

Monster12valve,

I highly suggest getting a monitor solution!!!! When ECT/EOT delta exceed 15*, a new oil cooler should be considered. FICM volts should never drop below 46v, you run a big risk of destroying the injectors. Fuel pressure should never drop below 45psi at anytime, when below 45psi the injectors can be damaged.

Yeah a fuel pressure gauge, an engine oil temp gauge, and a engine coolant temp gauge would all be wise gauges to get, or a monitor that has the capability to watch this stuff...

Cool. Thanks guys! I gonna flush the coolant this weekend and order the sinister coolant filter kit. Also is there a way to tell if there has been studs installed by just looking at the motor? I know with my other truck you can.

You can see the lower head bolts/studs on these trucks, just look just below valve cover and see if you see a 18mm 12point nut with stud coming throug it or if you just see the top of a 6 point bolt head.
