Basically ID took a SF3 and erased all the canned tunes for the ford, then they put in ID's "canned custom" tunes in for the 7.3 and 6.0 in one unit, plus gives you room to add 3 custom tunes. When I say "canned custom" tunes, the tunes are written for basic upgrades like exhaust and CAI. So if you have bigger injector/turbo, they may not extract the potential power needed for the bigger bolt on parts.

When you look on the ID website, the part number will be 3015ID, notice the ID on the end of the part number.

Yes this is the one I have. When I ordered it Ted just asked if I have done any other mods like injectors etc. As he said he would just have to adjust tuning on it to match the truck ....
Mine has (reman) new stock injectors and turbo so I was good to go.

But for some reason it calls the gears 5-6 went you look it up on the net

Google innovative custom tune programmer 3015
It's a sct x3 but completely redone by innovative.

Comes in a package with all innovative packaging and a little sct sysbol in the corner
That's because it is 5 and 6. The 5R110 has 6 forward gears, but only uses 5 at a time. So the last two gears are usually 5 and 6, at least once the truck is up to temp.

Ok, just an SF3 that's preloaded with their tunes, makes sense.
