Either way should work fine. The AD2 eliminates the stock pump and becomes your regulator. I would just feed right to the front heads or figure out how to bypass the factory regulator like Lilpooh said. Let the AD2 do the regulating.

Or you can get a pusher pump like the others you mentioned, those work too, they feed the stock pump. I think that is likely the way I would go now.

If I had a truck that didn't have a vegistroke, I would most likely do an Aeromotive A-1000 pump, a couple filters, feed direct to the heads, then do a RR. At least right now that's the way I'd go.

Ok I ended up going the cheap way, I may want to change again later but for now it working great.

I ended up putting in an xdp fuel tank sump, 1/2" line to a ppe lift pump( set at 12 psi) , then 3/8 metal line up to the stock fuel pump.

In the end I went from idle - 61-62 psi to 68-71 psi fuel pressure at the top fuel bowl.
And at wot went from 25-45 psi to 53-58 psi

Thanks for all your time and replies info is alway great

Ps innovative extreme street tune is wild!!!!!! I have been running it full time since I put it in , one day I may try the anarky tune but for now it has all the jam I need for the times I want it!!!!!!

Sounds good! The pusher pump idea is also a good reliable way to do this. I like the fact it retains the factory pump because if the lift pump dies you can still get home.

What's the anarchy tune? Who writes that?

Never heard of it!? Just heard about the recent release of the Xtreme X. What's the anarchy tune supposed to be like compared to the others?

If you look on Innovative diesels site , I have the sct unit that is completely tuned by innovative, called innovative diesel performance programmer.
It has for mine 6.0 ltr
Towing 60rwhp 120 tq
Street 120rwhp 220 tq
X street 160rwhp 310 tq
Anarchy 180rwhp 330rwtq
All on top of stock!

Plus I can get three more tunes sent to me and be put on it too.

I am still using only x street. And it rocks. It only pours out black smoke it you stand right on it , then just a nice light haze once spooled. Tune is great cause if I don't hammer on it I don't get any smoke!

Just one question if any one can answer , did anyones boost change after putting a high tune on , stock and with my edge I used to get 24-27 wot. Now I find I run 22-25 wot ? But lots more power!!!!!!!!

Those boost numbers sound dead on. It will run around stock or a hair lower when WOT.

Get it up to cruising speed, let the converter lock and roll into it, boost will shoot up over 30 when you do it this way. Just the way it's tuned, nothing to worry about.

I'll bet that anarchy tune is what everyone is calling the xtreme X on the boards, to get those numbers you need to match it with their FICM tuning too I believe. I didn't see that info on their site you posted there... guess I didn't look hard enough haha.

xtreme street is and has always been one of my favorite tunes out of all the one's I've tried. Great DD tune. I'm running something similar from GoGo right now, it's his "race" tune with stock lock up, so the converter isn't locked all the time, so real similar to the xtreme street.

Thanks for the info on the anarchy.

To find the programmer, I you can use the search on innovatives site or google it.
I see it has gone up $100 since I have got it good timing I guess...

I did notice when programming with it there is lot more opions then my buddy s regular sct x3 , like I can do all gear torque convert lock ups with any tune, I can adjust fuel settings for more or less smoke , shift firmness , shift points , when to shift in each gear. Egr off on. And some other stuff too,

Thing rocks!!!!!
Can't say it enough

Don't even know what I was thinking running a boxed off shelf tuner !

Maybe I missed this, what programmer did you end up going with?

You shouldn't be messing with any of the converter lock up stuff if you're using custom tunes, that should all be written into the tune already. You can change shift firmness, but I wouldn't touch the lock up stuff or the mph when it shifts... just some words of wisdom...

I didn't mess with anything , but it will let u .
I left the torque convert in stock mod only lock in 4-5
But for some reason it calls the gears 5-6 went you look it up on the net

Google innovative custom tune programmer 3015
It's a sct x3 but completely redone by innovative.

Comes in a package with all innovative packaging and a little sct sysbol in the corner
