Default Decided to keep

Ok well I finally after 5 months of having my 6.0 that I'm going to keep it... Unless my buddy comes up with a good price on his 06 6.0.

So if I do keep it I need to get some things figured out...
1.) figure out what causing my 2 stroke problem ( I'm thinking injectors are on there way out)
What's the best new ( not reman) injectors to go with for a dd with a little extra power?

2.) looking for a spare ficm that I can have sent out to be fixed so I can have bill at php roll it back and tune it... Anyone know were to look for one?

3.) thinking of going with a powermax turbo or finding a 03
Is it ok or a good idea to buy a used 03?

You can still get remaned 03 turbos, might even be able to get one from Ford, just make sure they didn't change anything,Also make sure you get an 03 turbo pedestal if you wind up getting one, they are different.

I have the early 04 turbo mount... I'll have to check into it a reman if the price is too high I might just get the powermax, that way if I go with bigger sticks it can handle it

If you have the early 04 mount then you should already have the 03-early 04 turbo...

Check out my photo album for pics of my injector, you will see the bolt I was talking about, when this happened the truck would rock back and forth, and WRAP-WRAP-WRAP- LIKE A 2 STROKE, its worth looking into.

I know my turbo can't be the 03 "10" blade exhaust side bc it's quite... My buddies "06" is louder than mine, unless the stock down pipe with resonater( don't think I spelled that right) is blocking it..

I'd go with Ford injectors. They're 12 month/12k mile warranty, and one of the ONLY companies that truly replaces the spool valves. Even Alliant doesn't do this from what I understand. No questions, if you're buying sticks, go FORD.

FWIW, you can still put an 03 turbo on the newer mount, you just lose one of the mounting bolts. Heck, I've seen turbos come off with NO mounting bolts in them...

As for turbo, if you're going to spend the coin on a "new/reman" 03 turbo, just get the p-max. It whistles just as loud if not louder and will outflow the 03 easily.

No, they just offer the best product on the market. Some guys don't care if labor is covered if they have to deal with the down time of the truck... again.
