Default smoke smell

whats up guys i recently installed a sinister egr delete, coolant filter kit and new oil cooler .06 f250
now that i did that i noticed that i have some smoke on start up and when i stop at light and take off ,smells like oil im wondering if the turbo seals are going bad i did oil change and new gold coolant at the time of the rest of the stuff install. and im gonna install my sct jody tune tomorrow can any one give me some insight on the cause of smoke?
smoke is on first start (cold) and when i stop at lights and take off but smokes for a couple of seconds and goes away

What color is this smoke? What kit did you install? Did it have it's own new solid up-pipe?

Yeah if it was a turbo it would do it all the time though.

Did you have your intake manifold hot tanked or anything? Is the EGR valve still in place? It could just be burning crud off from the install. How many miles have you put on since the job?

My guess is it's injector/FICM related though. How old are the batteries in the truck? If they're getting old, have them load tested first. If they check out, test your FICM. It's easy as pie, the instructions are at the top of the 6.0 page.

Ok ill check the ficm i had the manifold steam cleaned and i have like 150 miles
First night i finished ran the truck smoke was pouring out for the first 50 miles then stopped i guess it was the coolant in the exhaust .

Might be build up in the cat. Shoot you cant even see through the dang thing. Plus it gets better fuel millage without the cat.

When I took my cat off I could see clear thought it. Every taken one off of a 6.0 before? They're not exactly like a typical gas car cat. The grates inside my cat had larger openings than my grates on my propane grill.
