2 cracked heads

I was told by the top deisel tech at Dealer , to flush once a year. I will stick with the Ford Coolant. I seen 4 - 6.0 trucks with the same problem as mine. They put in the fuel injector cups and they all came back with fuel in the coolant. Porosity in the castings, of these heads in the fuel valleys causes this crap. That is why I bought my heads from Clear Water who has a method of going in and re-welding them so this does not happen. I won`t tell anyone to buy Ford Heads, after this nightmare.

Hello , I just wanted to update on the Excursion , it is running good. Getting cold around here now so I may need to plug her in again and put it on a timer to heat that oil up. That seems to give me a bit better gas mileage in the winter. Just a little tip for those that like to save gas. I have been running the Ford Cetane with every fill up and that is also helping on my gas mileage. Going to flush the coolant today just to ease my paranoid mind. Ha ha. Thank you all for your help and support it helped me a lot getting through this big breakdown of the truck.
