TROUBLE STARTING WHEN WARM
Hi
Got a 2007 Ford Ranger 2.5 and it’s very difficult to start when warm.
The vehicle starts no problem when cold but if I drive it for 10 min+ stop it and retry to start it won’t start. If I leave it for 20 mins or so it will evenly start. The engine turns over no problem but just wont start.
I’ve put it to my local ford dealer who could not find the problem and was as helpful as a chocolate fire guard. I was told no codes came up on the computer and it started ok when got in it. I noticed that a code came up one time after it wont start P0093 (Fuel System Leak Detected Large Leak) but it has not come up again.
Has anybody had the same problem or know what it could be???

I'm not familiar with this guy at all, any more info on it? Is this a HEUI engine? A typical trouble with hot starting on a HEUI is a high pressure oil leak. I'll look around and see what I can find about this motor, I'm intrigued. We don't get these cool motors across the pond here in the US. I'm jealous. Welcome to DB!
