Default 2004 F350 cold miss

I have an 04 f350 and I noticed driving home form work that I have a steady miss when cold. Tt does not madder were the skinny pedel is WOT or just crusing. My first thought was battries so had them checked and 1 bad, so replaced. Voltage on FICM and nothing below 48v, throwing a code p2290 cleared the code, and never came back. I do have an oil leak on both sides of the motor and around the turbo. Iam kinda dumfounded I would think FICM would be the problem. I just changed the fule and oil filter less than 1000 with MC filters. other than taking it to the dealership I dont know were else to look since the SCT is not pulling the codes. Thanks for any help

if it goes away when the truck warms up it could be injector stictition. although diesels dont really like to be run down the road cold either.

I let it warm up for 5 min. in 50 degree temps. I might try some rev X to see what happens.

When you tested the FICM did you do all 3 test? Key on, Cranking and running?

P2290 that's an icp code... You could have a oil pressure leak... Can you get it hooked up to a scanner to check icp vs icp desired. And ipr

Other than taking it to the dealership I have no way to watch those pramiters. I just bought the sct because it was missing to pull codes. The first time I hooked it up the only code was from the battries, when I programmed it and drove it hard trying to clean it out, or break waht was causeing the miss thats when the other code poped up. Like I said i have deleted that code and it has not came back on in 3-4 days and about 500 miles. Thanks for the help keep it coming
