Rebuilt Transmission

Rebuilt Transmission
I bought a rebuilt TorqShift from San Tan Transmissions in Az and I am pretty happy with it. But first, why did I have to get a trans? Because I was hard headed and didn't listen when I was told that the Edge Platinum POS eats trannies like its cool! That section of the monitor about trans settings is a BIG F'IN JOKE that ISN'T funny. If you're running one of these pieces of JUNK, get rid of it while you still have a trans. Dark, glittery trans fluid is NO BUENO, Batman! Just call me the Edge **** and we're good.
Now then, on to my intial findings. I paid for valve body mods and while I'm not certain what they were, I can tell you that there is NO 3-5 flare and it there was NO "learning curve" after installing my SRL tune. San Tan told me that my Go-Go solenoid would be unnecessary in their transmission. I also noticed it doesn't thump, clunk, or whatever you want to call it when the converter locks. The shifts were positive in stock mode, firmer in SRL mode.
Anyone planning to do a trans swap should ask a pro how to get to the converter bolts, that part REALLY sucked. That was the one question I forgot to ask when talking to a diesel mechanic.
