I'm not familiar with those units for this test!? ft-lbs is a measurement of twist, so I'm not sure how that applies here for injector contribution... weird. I'll look around a bit though and see what I can find.

When I do the contribution test it takes a base torque value from ecm, i can read trucks producing torque, Then it takes one injector out at a time and see how much torque it was contributing.

That seems silly to me. What if you were running low fuel pressure? It would show the rear most injectors producing the least amount of torque, but it wouldn't be an injector problem, it'd be a fuel delivery problem!?

Well IM leaning torwards that I dont have an injector problem, the code I pulled was for Number 8 Cylinder Contributing and Balance. Which the leading causer are FICM, Injector Hold Downs or Bad Injector. I cleared the codes since they were history codes and where inactive but the truck still running the same, Where gonna put new batteries in and test the FICM I hope this weekend. Thanks for the help Mike. Also reason being that I dont think I have an Fuel problem is it has a New HPOP pump and it start up fine for a powerstroke. I havnt Tested any of the fuel system, and I highly doubt that its my problem since its been over a year that we have had this problem.

Running a tuner or any other mods? Fuel pressure is easy enough to test to rule it out too...

If you cleared the code and it doesn't come back, I wouldn't worry about it.

Nope this truck is bone Stock, has 199800 Miles on it. Even though I cleared the code the truck still misses and it has not brought up a idiot light. But yea I can always test the fuel pressure. Something wrong with tha in the aspect.

I would be testing batteries first, then the FICM and if those scope out, I'd be replacing #8 injector.

Exactly what Im going to do, We have the orignal motorcraft 800CCA battery and a Napa 1000 CCA Battery. Which If im understand right does not help the FICM.
