Yep, the oil cooler rebuild has great instructions. Not terribly difficult to do, but one of those things you should do once you're torn into it. I would do a full coolant flush first, then rebuild the cooler, do an EGR delete, and put her back together and run it.

If you're monitoring temps, monitor coolant temp against oil temp. Your spread should never be more than 15* apart. If it's getting more than that, the oil cooler is clogging. Once that clogs, it leads to blown egr coolers and blown headgaskets. It's the oil cooler that is the cause of these other two issues usually.
