Suspension, ROUGH ride

Suspension, ROUGH ride
I have an 06' 4 door, F-350. Its a 4x4, has a leveling kit and 35x12.5x20 tires. The suspension is super rigid and makes for a rough ride. I know that its suspension is made for a heavy load but I probably only pull a load 4-6 times a year. Does anyone have any good suggestions on how to make a smoother ride??
I KNOW that I own a truck and that it will never ride like a cadillac!!! But it rides so rough that its all over road when I hit bumps!
Thanks for any advice

Take a single leaf out of the spring pack in the rear and put the coil springs from a 5.4 motor in the front. It'd smooth it out real nice. However your tires will probably rub then, it will sit lower and your towing capacity is dropped.
How many miles are on this truck? What shocks are on it now? Simple shock swap would probably help tremendously.

Because a spacer wont compress, I have never liked them or the way they ride and although its cheaper to get spacers something like the icon springs are going to ride better than stock and give you the 2.5" lift

Obviously the spacer wont compress, but the ride is exactly the same as stock!? The ride hasn't gotten any worse. Obviously, the 2.5" taller springs will ride nicer, if designed properly. The Icon leveling kits are also somewhere in the $1100 price range. I have approximately $0 and 2 hours of my time into mine.

What shocks do you have? If they are a Pro Comp, Rough Country, Tough Country, pick yer country, white tube nitrogen shock, that's you're problem. Mine rode fine, even with an add-a-leaf, then I added nitrogen charged shocks, holy crap did it get stiff. A stock type oil shock may be what your after before you start taking leafs and stuff out.
Airing down your tires also helps with a more even tread wear. I have 315s on a 10 inch rim, anything over 45 and they stand up in the middle. I didn't pay $250 a tire to ride on the center 6 inches.
