any one throw egr codes after straight pipe insall?
Last night as I was driving home I got a CEL so i scanned it and got 2 egr codes my dumb *** cleared them before i wrote them down though. I installed my straight pipe 7 days ago and driving like my a mad man to hear that "wrasp" sound it makes at wide open throttle pretty much every chance i get. Last night however i drove normal and that's when the code was thrown. Is it a coincidence that this has happened so shortly after my exhaust was installed did i crack my egr cooler due to how I've been driving or has my style of driving clogged my egr with soot? This happen to any one else?
Truck has near 94k egr valve is a year old I checked it three mo. Ago and it was almost shiny inside.
This prob doesn't help but both codes read something like "out of threshold"

Haven't heard of that happening before. I have a 03 that i straight piped also. I cut the cat and muffler out and just took the rest of the pipe and moved it forward and used the tail section as a short turn down behind the cab. All stock pipe size just moved it forward . Been like that for about 2 months and i drive it light and heavy and never seen that.
