Default Neighbor probably hate me

So a few days ago a friend bought a Powermax for his '03 and I helped him install it then bought his stock turbo from him for $250. Yesterday I installed it on my truck and took off my straight pipe (so that I can cut the axle hump out and weld it back together to dump right in front of the tire, also blew out the side of the downpipe/straightpipe flange gasket). So today (leaving the house at 6AM) I was running an '03 with a 4" downpipe (ending right under the passenger seat) and nothing behind it...my ears are still ringing. Surprised noone called the HOA on me yet. Lmao.

Day shift, very cold here, idle for about 10 minutes at 0545 before I get in, high idle kicks in, it screams.

Can't an HOA legally publicly execute you in the street for little to no reason? Further, can't you be summarily executed in The People's Republic Of Kalifornia for defeating emission controls? You're living dangerously my friend.

I took my stacks off before and ran just a downpipe with a straight piece back to about the back of the cab, it was the quietest my truck had been in months. It's so much louder in the cab with the stacks on.

I've thought about getting rid of my stacks and going to a 5" turbo back... I even thought about putting a muffler in my exhaust system somewhere, or at least a resonator of some sort. What I really want to do is come up with a muffler that is "slide-in" and drop it down in the stacks, tighten a bolt up to hold it in there and then when I'm done I can yank it back out...
