Ok so the problem now, thank the lord, isn't as bad, but kind of a pain in the butt problem.
My auto hubs aren't working properly. When turned to the auto position and turning the switch to 4-hi, the light comes on, and I can hear the click from the transfer case, but the truck is still in 2 wheel drive.
The only way to engage the 4x4 is to get out and turn the hubs to the lock position. This was a pain because I was stuck in about a foot of mud on a strip job. Had to get out and dig the hub out from under the mud to lock it in...
Also I don't know if this is related in any way, but my A/C only blows out of the defrost vents. It comes out cold, but will not blow where it needs to.
Thanks in advanced!

There was a thread a week or so ago on it... You have a vacuum leak. Check the hoses going to the hubs, they tend to get dry rotted and crack... I picked up a hand vacuum pump from harbor freight and tested the each line individually... If all the hoses are good then you have a bad seal on the hub.

On the passenger side under hood behind battery there is a tank that hold your vacuum pressure. Disconnect one of the lines with the key on and make sure the pump is working ( you will here it) then the lines connect into the hub assembly behind the wheel (they come down from the frame... You will see them and were they connect( not the abs or brake lines) I'll see if I can find the video

Actually I forgot mike made it into a sticky at the top of the page. Auto hubs not working.
If you put your blower on ( not on defrost) then put it in 4x4 hi and wait to see if it goes to defrost, then you have a bad line some where
Just watch the video it's pretty good
