If you're getting to 1500* there is fuel there somewhere, why you're not seeing any black smoke is completely beyond me, that makes no sense. That fuel has to be going somewhere!? I need to think about this over an ice cold beer tonight.

Driving down the road you get a constant haze but it's not like its rolling it like my cummins.

P132B was the code I believe.

Turbo underboost code... it shouldn't haze at all. 6.0 is quite a different animal than an 02 cummins, it shouldn't be blowing smoke like that. My race tune probably puts out less smoke than your truck, so that's an apples to oranges comparison.

Probably needs a new turbo.

Still no boost with the new turbo!! The 6.0 sounds like a 7.3. Usually the exhaust on a 6.0 will whistle and sound like a jet, but the damn thing sounded like a early obs 7.3. Then the thing shut off on us after running for 2 minutes and won't restart. Only
Code other than the ones for the EGR is a P0603 but I think it was from when I unplugged the batteries. I have no idea what to do with this hunk of junk

This didn't happen right after an oil change did it? what led up to this problem? was it something that happened slowly or just one day it quit working?
Might have a low presure oil problem, turbo uses oil presure to operate the vanes, and if not enough oil is in the resivoir for the HPOP it will shut the truck off. make sure he didn't use a oil filter where the cap is attached to the filter as one piece, they are known to fail on the Ford trucks, think that is the only kind Napa sells but they are for box trucks that have a different housing.

The oil filter he has cann detach from cap. The kid said that the turbo issues kinda worked its way up to the point that it wouldn't boost over 11 psi. It had a no start problem a few months back with the low oil pressure pump I believe. Ford ended up replacing the pump. The only other problem I know of it having was it would act like it was missing or sucking for fuel at RPMs over 1800.

I think surging is a better term for what it was doing when try to accelerate.

OK, so he had a new hpop put in. I would check the screen on the IPR valve that screws into the side of the hpop, they are known to get clogged or screen punched in after the hpop has been replaced, basically from junk that might have still been in the system, you can replace just the screen as long as the solenoid still works wich I believe they do most of the time. this IPR valve limits how much hpop presure there is going to the injectors and if it gets clogged or screen punched in it can't operate properly and acts like a major high presure leak. don't throw parts at it unless it has been put on a scanner and verified what is going on, also check back in here because alot of shops get rich selling stuff that isn't needed. after it is fixed and you want the truck to wistle like it did before just put the 03 turbo back on, they are the ones that make sweet music. also did that turbo come with a new actuator?
