Sorry to hear it Karl. So you're getting a whole new trans?
A reman trans from San Tan Transmission in Arizona, upgraded valve body and converter.
The new solenoid will only help the new trans last longer too. There is no reason a 5R110 shouldn't last at these relatively low power levels, with proper tuning.
I specifically asked about the Go-Go solenoid and they told me it was not needed with their valve body upgrades. Furthermore, the valvebody upgrades increased the warranty terms to 30 months. Just need to find a tranny guy to sign off on a proper install, no biggie.
Something tells me Karl will be the Edge **** around here
Hiel mine SCT furor! Honestly though, I was warned, I didn't listen, so I have nobody to blame but myself. Wait a sec, this is America and I don't have to accept responsibility for I LIKE TURTLES! DAMN EDGE!!!!
