Default EGR delete question

I have a 2006 ford F250 6.0. First diesel. I bought an EGR delete kit and want to install soon. All,my temps seem to be fine and runs great. Is replacing the oil cooler needed? I will be getting a coolant filter next. 8s replacing the gaskets in the turbo oil lines required?

If your temps are fine I would not, I would flush the system before you start the EGR delete. If your turbo oil drain tube is not the updated one it would be smart to replace while you are in there.

if you have a 06 than you have the newer updated turbo oil lines so they should be fine if you do the egr delete you might as well do a new oil cooler if your truck has any kind of miles on it i would also install new intake gaskets becuse the plastic on them tend to crack. you can get good deals on gaskets egr delete ond oil coolers off ebay.

Ranger, there are NEW updated oil turbo feed and drain lines, newer than what any of the trucks even came with. It is not the new updated one on his truck.

If your temps are ok, I probably wouldn't touch the oil cooler IF you plan on doing headstuds or something down the road. If you don't, do the oil cooler rebuild now, a coolant flush, a coolant filter, and an EGR delete should help keep it nice and healthy.
