P0674 is glow plug #4 (from the front of the engine facing rearward, second cylinder back, on drivers side)

P02291 ICP is too low. Is the truck running/starting ok?

Tough to say right now. Try unplugging the ICP sensor and starting it, see if it starts any easier. It's the sensor right in the passenger side valve cover, passes right through.

Do you have access to a scanner of some sort?

Can your CTS monitor some PID's on the truck? Like can you watch ICP actual and ICP desired with that? I'm not really sure what they're capable of...

i have been watching the ficm voltage and battery volts. i will try that and see if it helps. ficm says 46 -48volts.

Unplugged it and it started right up

Would it be ok to run it with out the icp hooked up?it does start when it is unplugged. I would have to jump it to get it started when it was plugged up.

started the truck this morning and had to plug the icp back up to start it(temp outside around 30degrees) when it get warm have to unplug it. do i need to get a new one

I would say so. Typically when you unplug it, the PCM just defaults to some standard settings allowing the truck to start. That's odd it wont start cold without it though. At this point, I would probably replace it if it was me, but I hate telling people to replace parts without KNOWING what needs replacing. If you can't monitor anything we're just basically guessing anyways.

i have problems now.
had the truck towed home, will not start. i have one of the batteries on charge. (if it will charge). just got them about a month ago. next thing i do is check the ficm. i tried unplugging the icp and nothing. have to have this for work and don't have alot of money to work with as work has been slow.

Are you getting smoke out of the exhaust when you crank it to start?

How far are you from snowshoe WV?

it started this morning. i don't think it was smokeing. i am about 4 hours from snowshoe.i charged the battery on a low setting last night. i am goint to est the ficm today. trying to rule out other things before i tear the motor apart to fix hpop system. i am sure that is part of the problem.i think it wouldn't start because the batteries were to low to. tried to jump it but that didn't help

Get your batteries charged good, test the FICM and then let us know what happens. If you crank the truck and it's not starting, check to see if there is any smoke. Would really help if we could get a scanner on this thing.

Holderdown performance is in Snowshoe, real good group of guys to deal with.
