ford gold isnt the biggest problem, the distilled water really helps. I have replaced a lot of EGR coolers and not found gunk unless the oil cooler goes bad too, then its of coarse oil in the coolant. Every coolant will leave the deposits in the Degas bottle, regular flushing helps that concern. The coolant doesnt make it the 100k miles its recomended for. 60k is max before it needs to be flushed, starts breaking down after about 40 to 50k miles.

Usually the silicates like that only fall out of suspension when the coolant is superheated, IE a clogged oil cooler and flash burning in the egr cooler.

so looking at the pictures

what do you think of the pictures

i know the antifreeze was green prior to flushing

i flushed 4 times with distill water

i only ran the VC 09 two bottles for one hour prior to flushing...

i want to flush out the oil system next

i heard using gallon of diesel and gallon of transmisiion fluid let run for hour

then flush with reg oil....dump

then add the rotella 0 40

That goo could very well be from the green coolant mixing with the Ford Gold coolant. I'd almost guarantee it.

Why do you want to flush out the oil system? I'd be REALLY hesitant putting anything in there cause it's going to run through the HPOP and through your injectors... If you really want to clean it up, use a good synthetic oil, it's amazing how well synthetic oil cleans. Try using some on your hands next time they're greasy from working in the shop. Synthetic oil will seriously make your hands shine! haha
