On our 06's I would change it either. Higher mileage 03, if I planned on keeping it, I would be inclined to change it. That's just my opinion though, ultimately up to the OP. I am also the type of guy who hates changing anything unless it's broke. I would change 7 injectors out and leave one old one in if it was still working good, if that tells you anything.

Well I'm the type of guy to we're if it needs to be done I'll do it excpically bc I don't know what has been done to the truck and I'm planning on keeping it and making the move all the way to slc Utah in the near future... So I don't want to get half way there and it craps out on me!!!
And I was only running like 50 mph and Erie pa doesn't have any real hills and I was getting average 9* difference in eot and ect empty!!!
And yea I want to clean the turbo and update the oil supply line bc I don't know how long the truck sat at the dealer... So the unison ring could be pitted.
I don't know what I'd do without this site!! You guys are a big help and I am learning a lot about these motors!!! Thanks guys!!!

Ok so here is the issue, I only got limited money right now so should I do the oil cooler ( so far only 9* difference empty) I think I'm going to get the isspro ev2 fuel pressure gauge. Now can I get a hpop gauge? I'm ordering the isspro with the 4 pillar gauge(for future gauges) and the fuel pressure gauge for $200 from Dpp is that a good price?

I can't remember exactly, but I feel like I paid something like $135 for my Isspro EV2 fuel pressure gauge man. I got a guy locally to me that I'm pretty good friends with who hooks me up, but I think you can do better than that. Try one of the sponsors here first.

You could get an HPOP gauge if your heart desires. Have you looked at something like the Scangauge II? It can read all of that stuff and runs something like $250. Just something else to look at. It can not read fuel pressure, at least without an add-on though. Fuel pressure gauge is #1 most important on a 6.0 IMO.

You can also just hook a scanner up to your truck and see what the HPOP is doing right now too.

Ok yea I looked everywhere last night for isspro ev2 gauges and cheapest I found with all hookups and 4 gauge pillar mount is $200. I'm going to try to find more today. I have the edge evolution that reads eot ect pyro boost and a couple others... Does the sct have more pid options? I want to get a new programmer with some custom tunes for towing from innovative... I've seen the cts and from what I under stand you can't put custom tunes on it?

I think the smart thing to do would be change the oil cooler and add fuel psi gauge first? Then add the coolant filter...

Oh, $200 for the gauge and the pod, gotcha. Those pods aren't cheap so that's probably about right. You should still check with the vendors here, I bet they can beat the price. The SCT livewire should be able to read anything the evolution can. The CTS is more for the good looks. You can use the tunes on it (not that I'd recommend that) but you're right, no custom tunes with the CTS. An SCT X-3 and the Edge CTS is a popular combo now.

Ok thanks mdub for the info! I Posted a thread on the vendors section so I'll see what I get back. I think I'm going with the 4 gauge pillar with 0-100 psi fuel pressure for now then I'll add the eot ect and maybe hpo ( definetly eot and ect not sure about the hpo?) and so far I think I like the isspro ev2 setup the best

I use the EV2's in my truck, I like them a lot. The fuel pressure gauge also has a low warning light built in (something I never knew about!) that can be programmed by the guys at ISSPRO too. Try shooting a PM to CSIPSD on here, he deals with ISSPRO stuff a LOT.

Ok cool! Thanks for the info!

Ok so with taking care of the fuel... Do you think I should go ahead and do the oil cooler? Im only getting 9* difference empty but I don't want to be half way to Utah and it clogs... I plan on running this truck into the ground so would doing the hpop be a good idea too?

I got $700 to play around with it so any ideas would be awesome!!!

It will never hurt to do the oil cooler, but it's not going to "all of a sudden" just clog up, it happens over time. I guess it just boils down to your comfort level. I probably wouldn't change it immediately, especially if you're planning to tear it down and do a bunch more work any time soon. If not, then yeah I'd probably consider doing it. It's not in the danger zone, so just try and plan a good time to tear into it and get it done.

HPOP is a tough call, I always hate throwing money at a truck that doesn't need it. It'd be nice to hook it up to a scanner and measure ICP actual vs ICP desired and see what kind of condition it's in.
