stock downpie size,

I'm about to put exhaust on a truck for a friend, but he's wanting to leave stock dowmpipe, so he ordered a cat back exhaust, and my question is, what's the stock size at the cat?

should be 3 1/2 inch. pretty sure Ford used a 3'' downpipe then the rest of the exhaust was 3 1/2
